Karly Raven, BHSc

Karly Raven, BHSc

Naturopath · SIBO Specialist · Practitioner Educator

Karly holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy and is a member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia. She practises online to patients Australia-wide.

Karly is the founder of Nourished Gut Clinic and creator of the Feed Forward methodology and the SIBO Restore Diet™, the staged dietary framework she now teaches to practitioners. She works with practitioners and patients navigating IBS, SIBO, IBD and chronic gut conditions, specialising in gastrointestinal health and seeing a high volume of patients with IBS, SIBO, bowel disease and generalised microbiome dysbiosis. She mentors health practitioners through karlyraven.com.

For this session, Karly leads the teaching, from the mechanism and the evidence through to the therapy considerations for patients at each stage of GLP-1 treatment.

Carla Wrenn, integrative naturopath and guest expert

Carla Wrenn

Naturopath, BHSc · Guest Expert

Carla is an integrative naturopath, nutritionist and herbalist who has been in practice since 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy plus diplomas in Naturopathy, Nutrition, Herbal Medicine and Classical Homeopathy, alongside postgraduate study in Integrative Oncology, Autoimmune Disease and Functional Medicine. In 2023 Carla was named Practitioner of the Year by the Australian Traditional Medicine Society. She co-owns Peninsula Herbal Dispensary & Naturopathic Clinic on the Mornington Peninsula, where her work focuses on complex and chronic disease. For this session, Carla brings both her clinical expertise and her own personal experience with GLP-1 therapy, followed by a moderated conversation and live Q&A.
